STAX is located on 3722 South Tryon St in Charlotte, North Carolina inside the South Tryon Athletic Center – the official Carolina Crush Training Facility. Whether you’re a new athlete or a CrossFit veteran, our coaches are dedicated and committed to training everyone using positive encouragement and respect. Devon has been part of the CrossFit community for the past six years. He has always been interested in physical fitness. Starting at a young age, football and wrestling were his passion. However, it wasn't until Devon found CrossFit that he knew he had discovered his niche.

Thea Winick

General Manager

Thea Winick joins STAX with diverse and extensive experience in both the general fitness and CrossFit communities. As General Manager of three multi-purpose fitness faciities, she oversaw all daily opertations, sales, marketing, budgeting and staff management. Then in 2007, Thea had a sense that CrossFit was on to something!
